About Jedediah Wilson

Jedediah (Jed) Wilson is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). They hold a Master of Arts (Counselling Psychology) from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) from St. Thomas University. Currently, Jed is a third-year Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) student at California Southern University.

Their clinical experience spans outpatient child psychology as well as refugee and immigrant care. Beyond clinical practice, Jed is an associate professor at City University of Seattle where they teach graduate-level counselling psychology students. Outside of professional life, they are kept busy by their huskies.

Jed's main areas of interest include posttraumatic stress syndromes, substance use, and personality disorders, though they also enjoy assessing attention and executive function

Presently, Jed assesses adults (18+). They combine performance-based and self-report measures to provide in-depth, integrated psychological reports designed for self-reflection, insight, and treatment planning. In practice, Jed frequently integrates dialectical behavioural, object relations, and schema therapy modalities. Jed’s interests also include collaborative/therapeutic assessment (C/TA), which is a therapeutic approach to psychological testing where assessment findings are collaboratively contextualized with clients over the course of four to five sessions. C/TA is best suited for individuals seeking clarity on specific, complex clinical questions.
